Next August, the citizens of Wyoming will have the opportunity of removing Barbara Cubin from office by electing a person of superb leadership and management skills - one who has the time and commitment to devote to the interests of Wyoming. Namely, Bill Winney.
Ms. Cubin narrowly defeated Bill Winney last year in the Republican Primary election. This coming August will be different.
Many of us recognize that we need a person in Congress who will be there all the time to vote and stand up for the interests of our State. Having served two tours of duty in the Reagan Administration, I can tell when someone understands the politics and the stresses of Washington, and Bill Winney knows Washington!
Bill served two consecutive tours of duty in Washington interfacing between the Pentagon and the Congress. He has the knowledge of Washington that is critical and needed for representing the people of Wyoming. Bill knows what it takes to negotiate, and when to stand tall for the principles of good government and the general welfare of all our citizens. Best of all, Bill Winney knows Wyoming.
Bill lives in Sublette County and for the past year has traveled 90,000 miles throughout the State visiting more than 40 Wyoming communities. Bill understands and cares about the issues that impact Wyoming Citizens – jobs, health care, education, drugs, and the water crisis, just to name a few of the issues he’s talked about with our citizens.
